Set aside time each day to study the material. Try to isolate yourself
from any other distractions.
Schedule the exam at least three to four weeks
in advance. Having the exam scheduled helps you to prioritize your day to
include study time.
Make sure that you have set up wireless LANs. Some of
the scenario questions will be obvious if you have, and very difficult if you
haven’t. Set up wep, filtering, etc. Use the site survey tools included
with most clients.
Sylvan allows you to reschedule an exam 24 hours in
advance. You should know by then whether or not you are ready for the exam. If
you are not, reschedule rather than staying up all night cramming for the exam.
It is better to be well rested, so that your thought processes are sharp, than
to be exhausted because you stayed up all night memorizing facts. This exam
will require you to think more than to memorize!
