The following list provides some helpful tips that provide you
with a better chance of passing the Access 2002 Core MOS exam:
Manage your time WISELY. You have only 45 minutes to complete the
exam, and I can assure you that you will require every one of those
minutes.
Understand that most questions are multipart. Rarely will a
MOS exam item have you perform only a single action. Most items will require you
to perform a multi-step procedure, which will test your reading comprehension
skills/thought organization skills along with your technical skills with Access
2002.
Understand that the Office XP Help system is unavailable. This
is a fairly recent development (August 2002). To be honest, if you master all of
the tasks that are contained in this Cramsession study guide, then you won't
need to worry about Online Help.
Close all dialog boxes, and make sure
the pertinent area(s) of the interface are visible on the screen. I believe
that the MOS testing engine takes a screen shot of whatever is on your screen
when you press the Next button. Therefore, make sure to close all dialog
boxes, etc., and ensure that what you want the test engine to see is clearly
visible on-screen. If the item asks you to complete a form or a report, make
sure that the form or report is visible! Don't close it!
