SYNOPSIS MOS 2000
Microsoft’s
MOS exam “Project 2000 Core” yields the MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) Core
on Microsoft Project 2000 certification. It is designed for candidates who “plan
projects with multiple tasks, customize graphs and reports, and communicate
project information and status.” These candidates require “proficiency with
core application features and operations.” Some job titles for those pursuing
this certification include: construction engineers; Local Area Network (LAN)
managers; webmasters; programmers; and analysts. There is no prerequisite for
this exam.
This exam is easy to moderately difficult and the cost
for it varies but is generally around $60 USD. It may be taken from your
nearest iQCenter.
MOS exams are performance
based and rely on “live” or real Microsoft Office applications. Typically,
MOS exams have a time limit of 45 to 60 minutes.
