SYNOPSIS MOS XP
Microsoft’s
MOS exam “Project 2002 Comprehensive” yields the MOS (Microsoft Office
Specialist) on Microsoft Project 2002 certification. It is designed for
candidates who “plan projects with multiple tasks, customize graphs and
reports, and communicate project information and status.” These candidates
require mastery of “routine application functionality and proficiency with more
advanced features and operations.” Some job titles for those pursuing this
certification include: project managers; business managers; construction managers;
network managers; webmasters; and programmers. There is no prerequisite for
this exam.
This exam is easy to moderately difficult and the cost
for it varies but is generally around $60 USD. It may be taken from your
nearest iQCenter.
MOS exams are performance
based and rely on “live” or real Microsoft Office applications. Typically,
MOS exams have a time limit of 45 to 60 minutes.
