Sun’s exam CX-310-016, “Sun Certified System
Administrator for the Solaris 9 Operating Environment Upgrade” leads to the Sun
Certified System Administrator (SCSA) Solaris 9 OE certification. It is
designed for Unix system administrators with a minimum of twelve months
experience in a Solaris Operating Environment. SCSA certifications from version
2.5, 2.6, 7 or 8 qualify as a prerequisite for this exam.
This exam costs $100 USD and
may be taken from Thomson Prometric.
The pass score for this
multiple choice, free response and drag and drop exam is 68%. There are 41 questions
and the exam lasts 60 minutes.
